College Rugby: 2013 ACRL Schedule

by Ted Hardy

In just over a month, the Atlantic Coast Rugby League will begin their 2013 campaign. Now in their third year of competition, the ACRL lost Georgia Tech during the offseason, but more than made up for the loss with the addition of Navy to their ranks. Even though Navy is not a ACC school, as with the other ACRL teams, the well-known program was a great fit for the ACRL on many fronts… competition, location, and esteem among others.

The ACRL season is set to kick off February 9th and runs through the middle of April. Virginia and North Carolina State have the honor of kicking off the 2013 season when the two teams meet in Raleigh.

The two-time defending ACRL champions, Maryland, open their season February 23rd on the road against NC State.
