hsaaAllAmericansRugby(PRWEB) February 22, 2013 –

Evolution Rugby Camps have joined forces with US Sports Camps to launch a nationwide network of rugby camps for high school boys. This summer the Evolution rugby camp network will establish the first two camps in Clemson and Chicago. The camps will be directed by the co-founders of Evolution Rugby, Head Coach of the Clemson Tiger Rugby Program, Justin Hickey and 2012 Team USA U20 Coach Scott Lawrence.

“Evolution Rugby Camps are structured to provide a high performance training environment for young rugby athletes, based on focus, commitment, passion, work ethic, skill, and of course, enjoyment,” states Coach Hickey. “The partnership with US Sports Camps will help us provide the finest rugby education and premier level coaching for the next generation of quality rugby players in the United States.”

The camps offer a three night four day overnight camp experience. The Clemson camp will take place from June 23 – 26 and the Chicago camp will run from July 14 – 17. Both Camps are structured to accommodate players of all ability levels, ages 14 – 18.

“Rugby is gaining huge traction in the United States. The Evolution camps will offer players of all abilities the coaching and instruction they need to take their game to the next level. Nationally recognized coaches will share their wealth of experience and passion for the game,” stated Hickey.

Jason West, Vice President of US Sports Camps stated, “US Sports Camps is proud to be affiliated with the Evolution Rugby brand, especially during such an exciting time in the sport, as Rugby fans world-wide celebrate and prepare for the inclusion of Rugby 7’s into the 2016 Olympic Games. This camp network will continue to grow and offer many young players the opportunity to discover the sport of rugby for the first time and help develop talented junior players at the grassroots level.”
